CoC Business meeting
9:00AM-10:15AM
The Continuum of Care (CoC) members meet monthly to discuss regional updates on our homeless response system, funding opportunities, housing availability, upcoming events and trainings, new resources, and data-related information. This is meeting is open to anyone and there are no fees associated with joining the CoC.
CoC Governance Board
10:30AM-11:45AM
The Continuum of Care (CoC) Governance Board meets monthly (after the CoC Business Meeting) to make recommendations and vote on CoC policies and procedures. The General CoC membership votes to approve or reject each of the nominees for the Governance Board based on a majority vote. The Board consists of: The CoC lead, Persons with Lived Experiences, Nassau and Suffolk Department of Social Services, Rapid Rehousing Providers, Permanent Supportive Housing Providers, Youth Providers, Veteran Providers, Mental Health Service Providers, etc.
