People with Lived Experience of Homelessness
Lived experience of homelessness is the direct experiences, choices, and knowledge gained by people who have experienced homelessness.
People with lived experience of homelessness (PLE) are considered to be essential partners in the work to end homelessness.
They can provide unique insights that help identify effective solutions and improve systems, services, and policies.
The CoC Governance Board includes dedicated seats for people with lived experience including youth, single adults, families with children, and victims of domestic violence.
